| 2025-2026 PARENT INFORMATION Thank you for your interest in becoming part of the Jags Family!! We look forward to meeting each of you during this season. Being part of our Jags Family is more than just learning cheerleading and tumbling. It is about gaining confidence and learning the value of hard work, leadership and responsibility. It’s realizing that TOGETHER we are STRONGER than we are as individuals. We feel that cheerleading is more than just a sport. It creates long-lasting friendships, respect for each other and teaches kids valuable lessons in teamwork and sportsmanship. While the banners and medals are great, our goal at Jags All Stars Athletics is to help mold our athletes into amazing members of society as they progress through our program and into their future endeavors. We look forward to a great season at Jags All Stars Athletics!
| Welcome to our JAGS FAMILY!! |
We have prepared the following information to help each family understand the commitment level that we expect. Please take the time to thoroughly read over the packet in full. Discuss the following information with not only your athlete, but also with your family prior to the beginning of the season. Together, we can have a positive impact on your athlete’s life and create experiences for the entire family. We offer teams with various skill levels for ages 5 through 18. Athletes are placed according to both age and skill level. All athletes with the will to learn and have fun will be placed on a team! Your child’s eligible division will be based on their birth year. All athletes will be placed on an appropriate age team. Athletes may be offered an opportunity to join an additional team as a crossover based upon skill and experience. We have several options to fit your athlete’s skill level and family needs. We offer All Star Fundamentals, Novice for Tiny and Youth levels, Prep level, Elite and Performance Recreational opportunities for both boys and girls!
| ALL STAR FUNDAMENTALS: A PERFECT OPPORTUNITY!
- 1 hour of practice a week
- Performance in the gym
- No competitions to attend
|
All Star Fundamentals is the first stop for kids who are interested in all-star cheer. The focus is on welcoming new athletes to All-Star and making sure they have fun, feel safe and make friends! Our main goal with the addition of this division is to:
- Establish a fun, low pressure, non-competitive, technique-centered progressional path for first time cheer athletes.
- Provide an opportunity to learn about All Star Cheer and prepare to transition to competitive teams as they are ready.
|
| |
|
| ALL STAR NOVICE: TAKE THE NEXT STEP! |
All Star Novice welcomes athletes moving up from Fundamentals, or with some past cheer experience. The program continues to build a love for All Star, while focusing on skill building and growth in a low-pressure, evaluation-only environment. Teams will attend cheer competitions and be evaluated on a rating system only and not scored against other teams. All Star Novice is ideal for athletes who:
- They are ready to transition from fundamentals to team performances that are evaluated at events.
- Are coming to our program with at least some cheer experience, possibly from a rec or youth program.
|
| ALL STAR PREP/PERFORMANCE REC: RAISING THE STANDARD! |
All Star Prep and Performance Rec are perfect for the athlete ready to take it to the next level! The program introduces a competitive environment, which drives excellence in skill building. Teams will attend State and National Cheer competitions and compete against other teams in their respective divisions. Prep & Perf Rec are ideal for athletes who:
- Are ready to transition from All Star Novice to a more competitive team atmosphere with limited tumbling.
- Are coming to our program with cheer experience, possibly from a rec or youth program, or transferring from another All-Star program.
- Are interested in a competitive team with less time and cost commitment than is required for All Star Elite.
|
| ALL STAR ELITE: WHAT YOU’VE BEEN WORKING TOWARDS! |
All Star Elite is the highest performance level that All-Star Cheer has to offer! These are the traditional levels that have been a part of All Star cheer for years. Teams will attend State and National Cheer competitions and compete against other teams in their respective divisions. All Star Elite is ideal for athletes who:
- Are ready to transition from All Star Novice or All-Star Prep to a high-performance level.
- Have strong cheer training and solid technical ability.
